πŸ“–πŸ“Literary Club - Thoolika πŸ“πŸ“–

The Literary Club "Thoolika" of Jameela Beevi Memorial Centre for Teacher Education, Kayamkulam, organized an inter-club drama competition titled "Rangadhwani" on 11th April 2025 at 12 PM in the college auditorium, in association with World Theatre Day. The Principal inaugurated the program, marking the beginning of a vibrant and creative event.  Five clubs participated, each presenting performances based on their respective themes, such as nature, sports, and other timely and thought-provoking topics with believable characters. Each team consisted of seven members and was given five minutes for preparation and ten minutes for performance. The use of non-hazardous props and technology was permitted, enhancing the creativity of the plays. The Arts Club secured the first prize, while the Sports Club claimed the second. The Principal concluded the event by awarding medals to the winners, acknowledging their remarkable talent and effort.

🌾🌾 VISHU CELEBRATION 🌾🌾

Vishu was celebrated with great enthusiasm at JBMCTE Kayamkulam, creating a truly wonderful experience for everyone. The Vishukkani was beautifully decorated by Union Staff Advisor Jyothi Miss along with the union members, and it was admired by all students, teachers, the principal, and non-teaching staff.  The principal and teachers graciously gave Vishu Kaineetam to all the students, spreading joy and tradition. Following this, the principal delivered an inspiring speech, and Harsha Miss spoke about the significance of Vishu, sharing memories of her past Vishu celebrations. The college music band performed a special Vishu song, and Harsha Miss, Amrutha, and Anoopa captivated the audience with their singing. The event concluded with Shahana Miss sharing her feedback about the program, bringing the celebrations to a heartwarming close.

🏏⚽Sports Club Programme ⚽🏏

On April 7th, Monday, the Jameela Beevi Memorial Centre for Teacher Education, Kayamkulam, observed the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace with a vibrant morning session held at the college auditorium. The event featured an online poster-making competition and a special health awareness programme titled AROGYAPRABHA – The Silent Struggles of Women’s Health , presented by the Sports Club. The session began at 10:00 AM with an insightful talk by Dr. Remmisha Balagopal (BAMS, CIY, CIM, CIC), emphasizing the importance of prioritizing women’s health.  As part of World Health Day, the programme highlighted the theme, “Let's make health our top priority—because a healthy body leads to a happy mind.” The afternoon session included interactive games, followed by the announcement of competition winners, making it a day of learning, fun, and celebration.
