On 26th January 2025, we celebrated Republic Day at JBMCTE with great enthusiasm. The program commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by a parade on the ground. All of us wore white attire, symbolizing unity and peace. Students were divided into two houses—Sapphire and Emerald. The event continued with a patriotic song performance and a speech competition on the Indian Constitution, where students showcased their knowledge and eloquence. The highlight of the event was the tableau presentation, where students dressed in traditional attire representing different states to depict significant historical events, cultural heritage, and developmental initiatives in line with the theme "Golden India: Heritage and Progress." This was followed by a poster-making competition on the same theme, showcasing students' creativity. The College Union Programme at JBMCTE, Kayamkulam, is set to be an exciting and meaningful event, bringing together students, faculty, and esteemed guests. The program will commence with a prayer song, followed by a welcome speech by Jyothi K.S., the College Union Staff Advisor. The Presidential Address will be delivered by Smt. Rekha R., the Principal of JBMCTE, marking the beginning of a vibrant celebration. A special session revealing the name of the College Union, themed "ഞങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും നമ്മളിലേക്ക്," will be a highlight of the event. Adding to the spirit of the occasion, Adheena, known as the Nightingale of JBMCTE, will perform a soulful song. The formal inauguration will be graced by Chief Guest Sri.
