The seventh week continued with the Onam examinations . Since the whole week was focused on exams, there were no regular classes. I was assigned exam duty on different days, which gave me more experience in supervising and managing the examination process. The students appeared a little tense during the exams, but it was a good opportunity for me to understand their approach and behavior in such situations. This week also included a holiday on Thursday, in connection with Ayyankali Jayanthi . The short break provided some relaxation in between the exam duties. It was also a reminder of the importance of commemorating great leaders and their contributions to society. On the final day, Friday, the school held its Onam celebration. The atmosphere was filled with joy and festivity as the students decorated a beautiful Athappookkalam. Various cultural programmes like dance with background music, ramp walk, and other performances added to the excitement. The celebration concluded with a tr...

The sixth week began with a special morning as the Onam examinations were conducted in the school. The exams started first for the Plus Two classes, and from the third day onward, the Plus One examinations began. In Plus One, the exams were held in the forenoon, while regular classes were conducted in the afternoon. This arrangement helped maintain both examination discipline and academic continuity. During these days, I was assigned exam duty for the very first time. It was a wonderful learning experience that gave me practical exposure to managing students during examinations and understanding the procedures involved. I truly enjoyed this responsibility, as it helped me observe how students approach exams, manage their time, and deal with the stress of testing situations. After completing exam duties, I also got an opportunity to handle a substitution hour in a Plus One class. This gave me further practice in classroom management and interaction with students outside the ...

The fifth week began with the second round of observation by our option teacher, Sathy Miss, and general teacher, Archana Miss. On this day, the juniors also came to observe my demonstration class. I conducted an activity-based session in which the students participated with great enthusiasm and responded clearly. Both teachers gave constructive feedback, and the juniors also showed interest in my class and shared valuable suggestions, which I found very useful. The remaining classes of the week went smoothly and were very satisfying. The students actively engaged in the lessons, and I was happy to see their curiosity and discipline in the classroom. These sessions gave me more confidence and strengthened my teaching practices.  This week also included Independence Day celebrations at the school. Although several programmes had been planned, they were cancelled due to the sudden passing away of the husband of our senior-most physics teacher, Asha Teacher. As a mark of r...

The fourth week at school was yet another meaningful experience. I continued with my classes, and the students participated actively as usual. They were eager to clear their doubts by asking questions, which made the sessions more interactive and engaging. Classroom management and discipline were well-maintained, which created a positive environment for effective teaching and learning. This week also gave me some free time to explore the school more closely. I got the opportunity to visit different parts of the campus such as the ground, auditorium, and high school section. I also witnessed the SPC parade, which reflected discipline, coordination, and team spirit among the students. These moments gave me a broader view of the vibrant school life beyond classrooms. Another special experience was visiting the Vanambadi room (school radio station) during my free hours. The beautifully arranged room with lights and music created a unique atmosphere. Listening to the...

The third week at school was truly energetic and inspiring. As a student-teacher, I felt more confident and passionate about the teaching profession. Every class I handled gave me immense satisfaction, as the students were attentive and responsive, making the sessions lively and engaging. My teaching aids and learning materials proved to be very effective. The students showed great interest and participated actively in the lessons. Their positive response motivated me further, and I felt extremely satisfied with my efforts and the impact I was able to create in the classroom. On the final day of the week, our college option teacher, Sathy Miss, visited the school for the first round of observation. I presented my lesson using the Inquiry Training Model, and the students responded enthusiastically. After observing, Sathy Miss provided valuable feedback and suggestions for improvement. Overall, the third week was an excellent and rewarding experience that strengthened my pa...
