SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE - I

Image
During the final week of my teaching practice, I conducted an achievement test for the students, which they attended with interest. On the following day, we had a yoga observation session under the guidance of Yoga Sir, Fazeel Shaji, in the school auditorium. The calm and spacious environment made the session more effective, where students actively took part in warm-up exercises, various asanas, and pranayama practices. On the third day, after evaluating the achievement test papers, I found that some students had not performed up to the mark, so I prepared a remedial lesson plan and taught them once again for better understanding. Later, as part of our philosophy subject work, we organized a conscientization program on the theme of peace education for high school students.  On the following day, I conducted a diagnostic test for the students who had failed earlier and, in the afternoon, engaged the class in a sociometry activity where they identified cliques...

INNOVATIVE WORK  - 3rd SEMESTER  I prepared an innovative work on the topic “Difference Between Public Company and Private Company” as part of my B.Ed curriculum. The model was created using thermocol, cardboard, and color paper to make the concept attractive and easy to understand. This activity focused on helping students learn the key differences between a public company and a private company in terms of membership, number of directors, index of members, share subscription, and public invitation.Students actively participated in the session, observed the model with interest, and identified the differences on their own. The activity encouraged self-learning and made the concept clear and engaging. Overall, it was a creative and effective learning experience, helping students gain a better understanding of company forms through innovation and participation.

The ninth week began with a PTA meeting in the Plus One class . Since the meeting was held in the morning, there were no regular class hours during that session. Attending the meeting gave me an opportunity to observe how teachers interact with parents and students in the school environment. I realized how important PTA meetings are, as they provide a platform for discussing examination marks, addressing students’ concerns, and sharing teachers’ feedback and suggestions. It was a valuable experience that deepened my understanding of the school’s functioning beyond the classroom. In the afternoon session, I had a substitution hour in Plus One . The students responded positively and engaged well in the class. Classroom management and discipline were maintained smoothly, which made the session effective and enjoyable. Overall, the day turned out to be another immersive experience in my teaching practice, strengthening both my confidence and skills as a student-teacher.  O...

The eighth week began after the Onam vacation, which was truly enjoyable and refreshing. The reopening day was filled with excitement as the school atmosphere looked vibrant and pleasant. I received a substitution hour in Plus One for teaching and another in Plus Two for classroom management. The students were eager to share their Onam experiences, and even the teachers shared some festive sweets with me, making the day even more special. On the second day of the week, the school observed a local holiday for Aranmula Vallam Kali, so no regular classes were held. The following days returned to the usual rhythm, with classes conducted as per the timetable. These sessions gave me opportunities to practice both teaching and classroom management more effectively. On the last day of the week, I taught a topic using the Concept Attainment Model. The students responded actively and participated with keen interest. Their enthusiasm made the class highly interactive and meaningful, which gave me...
