The Keralapiravi celebration at our college was a grand and vibrant event, filled with enthusiasm and cultural pride. The program began with a warm welcome speech by Sathy Miss, setting the tone for the day. Our esteemed Principal, Rekha Miss, inaugurated the event, emphasizing the significance of Kerala’s rich heritage and traditions. Students were divided into two houses, Sapphire and Emerald, to participate in various competitions. The first performance was a melodious song dedicated to Keralapiravi, followed by an energetic dance performance. A poster competition on the theme “Keralam” allowed students to showcase their artistic talents, while the Vanita Rathnam contest highlighted the contributions of women in Kerala’s history. The final event was an expo featuring the diverse districts of Kerala, displaying their unique culture, food, and art.
All these programs were judged by our dedicated teachers, and the competition was intense. After careful evaluation, the winner was announced by Shahana Miss, with Sapphire House emerging victorious. The principal, Rekha Miss, honored the winning house with a memento, acknowledging their outstanding performances.
The celebration concluded on a joyful note, with students and teachers appreciating the spirit of togetherness and the cultural richness of Kerala. The event was not just a competition but a beautiful tribute to our beloved state, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and appreciation for Kerala’s legacy.
