തക്കാരം – The Grand Food Fest by College Union ADWAYA
The much-awaited food fest തക്കാരം was conducted by College Union ADWAYA on February 28, 2024. Our beloved Principal, Rekha Miss, inaugurated the event, setting the stage for a vibrant and competitive culinary celebration.
The fest was structured as a competition between two teams—Sapphire and Emerald—both of whom put in immense effort to create a healthy and spirited contest. A total of 48 dishes were prepared, covering starters, desserts, main courses, juices, and additional delicacies.
As Team Sapphire, we transformed our allotted Mathematics Hall into a unique and well-organized dining space, categorizing the dishes for better presentation. The judges were highly impressed with our culinary creations and commended each of us for our dedication and hard work. Our efforts paid off as we won the Champion’s Trophy of തക്കാരം 2K25—a well-deserved and cherished achievement!
Adding to our joy, Amrutha was crowned പാചകറാണി of JBMCTE 2K25, a proud moment for our team.
Although Team Emerald gave us a tough fight, the competition brought us closer, fostering teamwork and camaraderie. തക്കാരം was more than just a fest; it was an ice-breaking session that strengthened bonds and created unforgettable memories.

INNOVATIVE WORK  - 3rd SEMESTER  I prepared an innovative work on the topic “Difference Between Public Company and Private Company” as part of my B.Ed curriculum. The model was created using thermocol, cardboard, and color paper to make the concept attractive and easy to understand. This activity focused on helping students learn the key differences between a public company and a private company in terms of membership, number of directors, index of members, share subscription, and public invitation.Students actively participated in the session, observed the model with interest, and identified the differences on their own. As part of our B. Ed curriculum we felt the need to organize a community living camp in our college. It is an opportunity for the student teachers to develop critical thinking about various social and educational issues. The outcome brings in self- identities, self -worth, self -esteem ,leadership and self- respect ,build personal competencies. The theme of our community living camp is WOMEN EMPOWERMENT, WOMEN   ENTREPRENEURSHIP, WOMEN LEADERSHIP and WOMEN HEALTH AND HYGIENE. The name of our camp is AVAL . Day - 1 The first day of the ‘Aval’ Community Living Camp held on 15/10/2025 at Jameela Beevi Memorial College of Teacher Education began with great enthusiasm. The camp was inaugurated by Smt.
