💜👭Womens Day Celebration 👭💜


 The Women's Study Cell, DAKSHA, in collaboration with the District Legal Service Authority, Alappuzha, and the Thaluk Legal Service Committee, Karthikapally, organized a day-long event focusing on women's issues and legal awareness. The event commenced at 9:30 AM with a flag-off ceremony, followed by a prayer and a welcome speech by Mrs. Archana Gopi, Co-ordinator of the Women's Study Cell. The inaugural address was delivered by Mrs. Divya , the College Principal in charge and the felicitation was given by Ms. Jyothy K.S, College Union Advisor of Adwaya. Ms. Meenakshi R, Secretary of the Women's Study Cell, concluded the inaugural session with a vote of thanks.
Session I, which began at 10:00 AM, featured a class on "Women Issues and Legal Awareness," conducted by S. Seema, Special Public Prosecutor of Alappuzha, with Mr. Rajeev A.P, the Legal Coordinator from the Thaluk Legal Service Committee, Karthikapally, assisting the session. This was followed by Session II at 11:00 AM, where DAKSHA organized a seminar titled "Schemes for Women – Know Your Benefits!" to inform participants about various government schemes available for women.

The event concluded with Session III at 1:30 PM, featuring cultural performances by "Gallery Gems." A house-wise competition between Sapphire and Emerald houses showcased a skit on women's health issues, a group dance inspired by poems related to women, and a mono act. In the end, Emerald House emerged as the winner of the competition.

INNOVATIVE WORK  - 3rd SEMESTER  I prepared an innovative work on the topic “Difference Between Public Company and Private Company” as part of my B.Ed curriculum. The model was created using thermocol, cardboard, and color paper to make the concept attractive and easy to understand. This activity focused on helping students learn the key differences between a public company and a private company in terms of membership, number of directors, index of members, share subscription, and public invitation.Students actively participated in the session, observed the model with interest, and identified the differences on their own. The activity encouraged self-learning and made the concept clear and engaging. Overall, it was a creative and effective learning experience, helping students gain a better understanding of company forms through innovation and participation.

⛺⛺COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP⛺⛺

As part of our B. Ed curriculum we felt the need to organize a community living camp in our college. It is an opportunity for the student teachers to develop critical thinking about various social and educational issues. The outcome brings in self- identities, self -worth, self -esteem ,leadership and self- respect ,build personal competencies. The theme of our community living camp is WOMEN EMPOWERMENT, WOMEN   ENTREPRENEURSHIP, WOMEN LEADERSHIP and WOMEN HEALTH AND HYGIENE. The name of our camp is AVAL . Day - 1 The first day of the ‘Aval’ Community Living Camp held on 15/10/2025 at Jameela Beevi Memorial College of Teacher Education began with great enthusiasm. The camp was inaugurated by Smt.
